Tornado touches down northwest of Calgary

A whirlwind touched prostrate near Sundre, northwest of Calgary, on Friday afternoon.
There are no reports of injury or mischief, declared Dan Kulak, a meteorologist through Environment Canada.
Several people called the charge to circulate publicly seeing the twister strike down about 25 kilometres west-northwest of Sundre at about 3:20 p.m. MT, he said.
The thunderstorm cell responsible with respect to the twister weakened less than an hour later. The tornado dissipated, but the storm, which was tracking east at 20 km/h is still capable of producing ample call, heavy rain and strong winds, said Environment Canada.
A tornado augury was issued at 4:47 p.m. MT with a view to the County of Rocky View near Bottrell and Madden as well as during the term of the Municipal District of Bighorn near Waiparous and Ghost River Wilderness.
Most of Alberta is under severe thunderstorm watches or warnings in continuance Friday afternoon.
